Mission Log: Welcome. Today your assignment is to inspect some crates that just came today from some anonymous source. If anything looks suspiscious, report it to Langley.

*Barney walked towards the crates and examined them.Printed on the side was the destination: "Sector 5: Anomalous Materials Lab 2"*
"why am i even here?im a security guard, not a deliveryman."
*He informed cargo control to move the crate to its destination and then returned to his post.He knew there was going to be some kind of big test today, but he wasnt sure when.All he knew was that it was in the Anomalous Materials labs*

"Barney report to Sector 5."

<yes sir>
*He walked up to the elevator, and saw a scientist having yelling at another as one had pressed a button causing the others lunch to explode in the microwave*
"good old gordon, pissing off magnusson"
*He walked into the security office*
"hi Ottis, Charlie.You wanted to see me sir?"

"Yes. Something in Sector 6 got out of its cage and we need you 3 to go investigate"
*pushes a button on the desk*
Scientist: Yes?
Me: We need that armour and weapons down here.
Scientist: Yes sir.

"ah dammit, i knew we shouldnt have let the teams bring those pests back."
*He walked out with Ottis amd Charlie behing him, and went to sector 6*
Scientist: "Good!your here!The Grub has gotten out again."
*Barney picked up a tranquilizer gun*
"alright then.Ottis, You grab one and search the East of the complex Charlie, you Grab one and search the West.I will take the north.Remember these things are harmless, so dont step on them!"
"Yes sir."
"sir"
*He ran off down the Northern part of the Complex and remembered the test was taking place in 50 minutes*

*suddenly a loud screeching noise is heard*

"uh oh..it must have bred with another one.."
<guys be careful!it appears to have offspring.>
*He ran up to an alarm panel and pressed it.He then spoke into it so his voice could be heard throughout sector 6*
<Attention staff!we have an antlion ont the loose!All containment tems search the complex, Scientsis, go to security checkpoints but go in groups!>
*He heard a scuffling noise and looked down the corrior but saw nothing but a group of scientists enter security checkpoint 10*
"where are you?"

*on comm system*
"What is going on down there?"

<sir, it appears the grub had offspring, which means an antlion.one isnt a problem, so will should be ok.>
*he saw a large creature lumber around the corner,.He raised his gun and shot it, causing it to collapse on the ground as the tranquilizer kicked in*
<attention personell, the situation is under control.grubs can only have one antlion child, and ottis has just walked towards me with the grub.Return to you posts and keep those damn things in their cages!>
*He, Ottis and Charlie returned to the room, but Barney got called back to Sector 5*
"damn lifts are broken again.."

*you see a large claw mark on the wall*

"looks like it came this way..ah well.problem solved now."
*He walked to the lift and saw the scientist arguing , but they stopped when they saw him*
Scientist 1: "About time you got here!"
Scientist 2: "hurry up!we have to get to sector 8 in 10 minutes!"
Barney: "why so urgent?Late as it is?"
*he opened the fuse box and saw it had 2 broken wires*
Scientist 1:"none of your business!you are just a guard!we actually did something with our lives!"
Barney:"hangon...Got it!Dont say thatagain or security will pay you a little visit!"
*He looked at his watch*
"damn!now im late!"
*He ran to his post and saw Gordon walk up to the door.*
"let me open that for you"
*Barney pressed a button and the door opened*

*Barney stood at his post whistling whilst waiting for his shift to finish.A guard walked along the corridor towards him*
"hi Barney, your shift is over."
"Great, im going to sign out now.see ya."
*as he walked down th corridor, he noticed the lights started flickering*
"damn test..."
*The lights continued to flicker, and then plunged him into darkness*
"They are really pissing me off now!"
*The lights came back on*
"thats better"
*There was a loud explosion, the lights went of, pipes burst thorugh the walls, he could here screaming, but he flew along from the power line that exploded in front of him, and went unconsious*

TEST CHAMBER
*Gordon was halfway throough the test when the Anomalous Materials cart came up.He pushed into the Particle beam as instructed, but something went wrong.he could here kliener yelling at him to et out of there, so he ran for the exit.As he ran, equipment started explodin around him, parts of the ceiling caving in.*

*Barney felt his head*
"ughh.."
*he opened his eyes and gasped.the entire room was destroyed, parts of the florrs above had collapsed in,the floor had give way, energy was coming out in the form of lasers, pipes were hanging out of the walls, doors were opening and shutting on their own and power cables were sticking out all over the place*
Base Communications Voice: "Test erroe.sectors 1 through 15 damaged, partially destroyed by renosance cascade.Main Power Offline."

*Langsley comes running down the hall with a security team*
Me: So far so good. Mostly minor for most of the staff. No casualties so far. Wait is that Barney?
*runs over and helps him up*
Me: Are you ok?
